Sabre's sharp new look cuts through the clutter with new branding and Web site

Brighton and Hove’s Sabre Telecommunications today launches a new Web site and corporate identity created by designer Nigel Gordijk of Common Sense Design.

Communications and networking firm Sabre commissioned Common Sense to redevelop its logo, making it more modern and dynamic. So that existing clients were not alienated, Sabre's existing, familiar colour scheme was retained. The three-dimensional globe icon that forms part of the new logo is based on two quote marks that come together to form an 'S'.

The Sabre Telecommunications Web site - www.sabretele.com - is the first marketing collateral to feature the logo. The new site has been redesigned by Common Sense following Sabre's brief to make it cleaner and the content more accessible. Nigel Gordijk created the new look and programmed templates for Sabre's in-house technical team to add content.

Common Sense creative director Gordijk said: “Many clients choose to work this way, asking me to provide programmed templates rather than build the complete site. This allows them more flexibility, as well as lowering the cost of production. I basically hand over fully-functioning Web pages that are ready for them to populate”.
